Hi, I’m Carmen. I’m a writer and reporter originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico. My writing has appeared in The New York Times, The Guardian, Los Angeles Times, Teen Vogue, UPROXX, The Austin Chronicle, and more. I cover gaps in women’s health, chronic pain, wellness culture, and art. I have an M.A. in Cultural Reporting & Criticism from NYU. I’m also a copywriter for brands and used to work as an in-house creative at Warner Music Group.
